Market demand for compliance and security management solutions key to The Silicon Valley/San Jose Business Journal naming of ArcSight, now publicly-traded, as one of Silicon Valley’s Fastest Growing Private Companies

(NASDAQ: ARST), a leading provider of compliance and security management solutions that protect enterprises and government agencies, today announced that it received The Silicon Valley / San Jose Business Journal’s annual Fast Private 2008 award as the thirty-fourth fastest growing private company between 2005 and 2007. ArcSight is the sixth highest revenue earner on the list with revenues of $69.83M ending fiscal 2007. The rankings were announced during an awards dinner at The Fairmont Hotel in San Jose, CA on the evening of Tuesday, October 7. ArcSight has the added distinction of being one of two Silicon Valley-based technology companies to have completed an IPO in the first three quarters of 2008.
The rankings were published in the October 10 issue of the newspaper, and will be included in the Journal’s next Book of Lists for the Silicon Valley area.
