ArcSight Named One of the “Best Places to Work” in the Bay Area
CUPERTINO, CA – May 03, 2010 – ArcSight, Inc., (NASDAQ: ARST) a leading global provider of security and compliance management solutions that protect enterprises and government agencies, today announced it was again named one of the 50 Bay Area's "Best Places to Work" in its category by the Silicon Valley/San Jose Business Journal and the San Francisco Business Times. ArcSight is ranked number 17 in the category of companies with 101-500 employees.
The "Best Places to Work" award recognizes Bay Area companies based solely on the satisfaction of their employees. Open to all companies based in the Greater Bay Area counties, employees from each participating company were surveyed online and rated their company in the following categories: team effectiveness, alignment of goals, trust with co-workers, individual contribution, manager effectiveness, trust in senior leaders, feeling valued, work engagement and people practices. This year, more than 350 firms competed for the opportunity to be recognized as one of the top companies in the annual "Bay Area's Best Places to Work" survey.

The official ranking from the survey was announced at an awards ceremony on April 28. Winning companies will also be recognized in a special "Best Places to Work" publication insert in the April 30 - May 6, 2010 editions of the Silicon Valley/San Jose Business Journal and the San Francisco Business Times.
