ArcSight Joins the Cisco Developer Network and Completes Cisco Interoperability Verification Testing for Secure Borderless Networks Systems
CUPERTINO, CA – June 24, 2010 – ArcSight, Inc. (NASDAQ: ARST), a leading global provider of security and compliance management solutions that protect enterprises and government agencies, announced that it has joined the Cisco Developer Network as a Registered Developer within the network security technology category. In addition, the Security Information and Event Management (SIEM) and log management product lines from ArcSight, including ArcSight ESM, ArcSight Express and ArcSight Logger, have successfully completed interoperability testing with the following Secure Borderless Networks system: Security Management. This interoperability testing helps to ensure that ArcSight software and hardware easily interoperate with Cisco Security Monitoring, Analysis, and Response System (CS-MARS), Adaptive Security Appliances (ASA), Aggregation Service Router (ASR), VPN Encryption Service Adapter ( ESA), Intrusion Prevention System (IPS), Integrated Service Router (IOS) and IronPort Web Security Appliance (WSA). Interoperability between ArcSight and Cisco products helps customers meet key security business requirements, particularly around protecting sensitive data, compliance and log management.
The Cisco Developer Network (www.cisco.com/go/cdn) unites Cisco with third-party developers of hardware and software to deliver tested interoperable solutions to joint customers. As a Registered Developer, ArcSight offers a complementary product offering and has started to collaborate with Cisco to meet the needs of joint customers.
