ArcSight Appoints Matt Hynes as Vice President of Worldwide Channel Sales


20-year sales veteran from Panda Security, McAfee, nCipher, and e-Security joins ArcSight to lead global channel sales

CUPERTINO, CA – September 01, 2009ArcSight, Inc. (NASDAQ: ARST), a leading global provider of security and compliance management solutions that protect enterprises and government agencies, today announced the appointment of Matt Hynes as vice president of worldwide channel sales. Hynes brings more than 20 years combined experience in enterprise and channel sales to drive worldwide channel sales initiatives for ArcSight.

Prior to joining ArcSight, Hynes was vice president of OEM and SaaS Sales at Panda Security. He was responsible for the North American ISV and partner program, as well as managing its SaaS direct and channel sales group. Hynes’ background also includes senior positions at McAfee where he ran the North American enterprise channel program. He held senior management positions at nCipher, where he managed North American sales, and e-Security, where he drove business development strategy for worldwide operations. In addition, Hynes held various channel and direct sales positions at Sun Microsystems and BEA systems.
