ArcSight Announces New Initiatives in Australia and New Zealand

Leading Cybersecurity Provider Introduces Tiered Channel Program, Expands Regional Management Team

SYDNEY, Australia – September 7, 2010 – ArcSight, Inc. (NASDAQ: ARST), a leading global provider of cybersecurity and compliance solutions, today announced the introduction of the new ArcSight Connections Channel Program, along with new regional management appointments. 

The ArcSight Connections Channel Program provides a foundation for ArcSight and its partners to build long-term relationships to assist customers around the world with solutions in the enterprise cybersecurity market. ArcSight has named Observatory Crest as a distributor in the region, focusing on the development of the ArcSight reseller community in the Australia and New Zealand market.

With its expanded focus in the region, ArcSight also announced the appointment of Christopher Poulos as ANZ Regional Director, covering the Australia and New Zealand territories. Poulos previously held regional senior level positions in Asia with F5 Networks, Trend Micro and Lotus Corporation. In addition to Poulos’ appointment, ArcSight also recently extended Calvin Hoon’s responsibilities with his appointment to the position of Regional Channel Director to include the Australia and New Zealand market. Hoon previously held positions in Asia with leading technology companies, including Blue Coat Systems, IBM and Sun Microsystems.
