WHO:
Two security experts from ArcSight, Inc. (NASDAQ: ARST), a leading global provider of compliance and security management solutions, will share their insights on data security and security information and event management (SIEM) at CSI 2008.
Brian Contos, chief security officer at ArcSight, will address the hot topic of SIEM and the often polarizing topic of supervisory control and data acquisition (SCADA) in two summit sessions.
Davi Ottenheimer, director of compliance at ArcSight, will moderate the Data Security Summit session.
WHAT:
The CSI 2008 conference organizers have invited Brian Contos and Davi Ottenheimer of ArcSight to address an audience of security experts and professionals in mid-November.
Security Incident Event Management Summit:
Brian Contos and other SIEM specialists from the government and private industry will discuss current and future SIEM capabilities and benefits.
SCADA / Control Systems Summit:
Brian Contos and security professionals and industry analysts will weigh in on the debate about whether there is a real threat to the information systems that control power grids and water treatment facilities and other physical systems. They will discuss how SCADA systems can best be secured.
Data Security Summit:
Davi Ottenheimer and Bryan Glancey, CTO and Co-Founder of Mobile Armor, will present new developments in breach prevention through key management and identity-based encryption. Discussion will center on how to secure an entire data lifecycle—control and monitor when, how, by whom, and on what device data is created, stored, accessed, copied, transmitted, outsourced and destroyed.
