The report, which looked at six different SIM vendors, cited ArcSight as a "leader," grading the company highest in four specific categories of evaluation, including Architecture and Integration, Reliability and Scalability, Administration and Reporting, and Revenue Growth.

The Forrester Wave report called ArcSight "tops for operations" and said that "ArcSight makes the shortlist for customers looking to build centralized Security Operations Centers (SOCs)." Forrester further reported that ArcSight's "product is an especially good fit for buyers who need superior security monitoring in the data center," and that ArcSight has an "excellent commitment to customer service."

ArcSight's top ratings in "architecture and integration," and "reliability and scalability" attest to the software's ability to addresses the mission-critical security and compliance requirements of today's most complex IT environments. Global 1000 companies such as Capital Blue Cross and Verizon, and large, complex federal agencies such as the IRS and Department of Health and Human Services rely on ArcSight to protect their critical IT assets.
