ArcSight ESM to be implemented at Spain's leading domain name registration and web hosting provider to protect customer records 

LONDON, UK - June 20, 2007 - ArcSight, Inc., a leader in Security and Compliance Management solutions, today announced that Arsys has chosen to implement ArcSight ESM to manage its security infrastructure and provide state-of-the-art SIEM (Security Information and Event Management) for more than 140,000 customers and 435,000 registered domains. In doing so, Arsys, the leader in Spain in domain name registration and web hosting, becomes the first Spanish company in its sector to adopt market-leading SIEM technologies. ArcSight's partner in Spain, Breyer, was instrumental in securing this deal and will be responsible for the implementation of this project over the coming months.

Offering a full suite of market-leading top quality services over the Internet produces an extremely demanding IT environment with a plethora of platforms that Arsys needs to ensure remain protected from security threats. Managing the security threats for such a large data flow over more than 1,500 devices places a strong emphasis in real-time detection and the need to react quickly to security threats. An extensive review of all available SIEM technologies on the market led to a clear decision – that ArcSight ESM, as the market leading solution, was best placed to meet its needs.
