ArcSight
Technology Partners
Security and compliance needs continue to evolve, and organizations often require information beyond the network level. They need to know who is on the network, what data are they seeing, and which actions are they taking with that data. EnterpriseView Partners work together with ArcSight to deliver solutions that answer these questions.
The EnterpriseView Program includes three types of partners:
- IdentityView partners help create a unified view of a user, which we then correlate to that user’s activity.
- DataView partners help provide context around the data a user is seeing, so that we can better understand whether user activity is problematic or not.
- AppView partners help monitor the actions within an application to determine if something fraudulent might be happening.
ArcSight correlates activities across all of these to provide a 360-degree view of who a user is and what that user is doing across the network.
EnterpriseView provides customers with a tested, interoperable set of solutions that solve high priority business problems relating to integrated monitoring of identity, data, and applications.
Partners whose products fit the mission of EnterpriseView (who is on the network, what data are they seeing, and which actions are they taking with that data) are eligible to join the program. Requirements include creation and certification of the appropriate connector, as well as potential joint marketing and co-selling.

Common Event
Format (CEF)
In addition to the ArcSight ESA, ArcSight also has a partner certification program around the Common Event Format (CEF), which is an open log management standard that improves the interoperability of security-related information from different security and network devices and applications. CEF enables technology companies and customers to use a common event log format so that data can easily be collected and aggregated for analysis by an enterprise management system. For more information on CEF, click
here.
To assist technology companies that want to adopt, test, and certify their compatibility with the CEF standard, ArcSight has formed a Common Event Format certification program. The objective of this program is to provide an all-encompassing program that provides partners with documentation, access to a hosted ArcSight ESM solution, for testing and web support as part of the CEF certification process. For more information regarding this partner program, please contact
