ArcSight named the winner of the First Annual Homeland Security Awards from Government Security News (GSN) in the Best Security Incident and Event Management category. ArcSight earned the gold with its ArcSight ESM/ArcSight Logger. Readers were most notably pleased with the product's ability to perform robust event correlation when compared to other SIM product. ArcSight Named a Leader in Info-Tech Decision Diamond for Security Information Management Solutions

ArcSight ESM was named a leader in Info-Tech's Decision Diamond for Security Information Management Systems. ArcSight received the highest possible scores for its ability to execute its strategy as well as for its features, support and product architecture. The Info-Tech report also noted that, "ESM is able to catalog incredibly high volumes of data and still make it readily accessible. Correlation and scalability are the mantras for the tool. Collectively, these findings resulted in a top score."

ArcSight ESM Named Top SIM Product in the Information Security Magazine 2007 Readers' Choice Awards

ArcSight ESM received the Gold Medal in the security information management (SIM) category from Information Security magazine 2007 Readers' Choice Award. ArcSight ESM was selected based on responses from over 1,500 Information Security magazine readers, who were asked to rate products from a listing of more than 340 products spanning 15 product categories. "The biggest benefit of ArcSight ESM is its dashboard graphics for analysis of security events," said Tim Maletic, manager of information security at Priority Health.

The Forrester Wave report gave ArcSight the highest scores for the "compatibility and integration" of its current offering. According to the report, ArcSight ESM's "out-of-the-box ability to collect data from third-party devices is unsurpassed among the evaluated products." In addition, the report stated, "Its flexibility and reliability make ArcSight a favorite with many enterprise customers, especially in the security operations center (SOC)."
