Lead Generation Representative - US

ArcSight, Inc. is a leading provider of enterprise software solutions that enable large organizations to manage security as a critical business process while protecting vital information assets and functions.

We are seeking a proven sales professional with a history of cold calling into medium to large accounts to secure sales appointments for Enterprise Field Sales Representatives . In this position you will be responsible for qualifying opportunities for direct field sales quota as well as supporting a field sales team with new business development, mining existing relationships for new opportunities and managing the daily activities associated with corporate strategic selling.

Positions Responsibilities:

  • Outbound "cold-calling" to a defined set target prospect accounts.
  • Field inbound calls and leads from various sources and qualify for business potential.
  • Contact prospects and partners through, but not limited to, phone calls, email, mailings, fax and seminars to communicate opportunities to extend initiatives with the company.
  • Collaborate with marketing, support, sales management, product management and account management to facilitate new programs, messages, campaigns, and offerings.
  • Ensure handoffs to sales, business development and support are successful, and exceed customer's satisfaction.
  • Ensure reporting and communications is frequent and bi-directional.

Job Requirements:

  • Proven success in building and maintaining successful relationships with prospective and existing customers.
  • Work experience should include a minimum of 3 years in a sales or sales support
  • Superior knowledge of accessing and using the Internet, SFA tools, and MS Office tools.
  • An understanding of security, networking and technology solutions.
  • Excellent communication skills are required, both written and oral.
  • BS or BA in a technical or business discipline or equivalent experience.

Federal Civilian Sales Manager

Position Description:

ArcSight seeks to hire a seasoned and accomplished individual in Washington DC, Virginia or Maryland to assist in building the company?s Federal Civilian Sales. For focused individuals who thrive in an environment of change and who have demonstrated a highly successful sales track record, this position provides high visibility, and extraordinary financial rewards. While the focus is on enterprise software solution sales, this individual will also be responsible for continuing the strategy of developing and partnering with the major security vendors; system integrators and value added resellers.

While ArcSight seeks an independent, autonomous and creative performer, this individual must also be a team player who can successfully partner with the already existing and dedicated marketing, inside sales and pre-sales support. This sales executive will be responsible for coordinating all corporate and third party resources to support the sales effort and to provide customer satisfaction.

Position's Responsibilities:

Oversees pre-sale and/or post-sale support of company products/systems. Provides technical support in sales presentations, product demonstrations, installation and maintenance of company products to ensure that the system is functioning according to specifications. Provides answers to customer inquiries concerning system software and applications.

Manager of Federal Pre-Sales Systems Engineering

Responsibilities:

The Manager of Pre-Sales Systems Engineering is responsible for managing a team of pre-sales technical engineers. This will include a team that supports both Direct and Channel sales teams. The candidate should be a self-starter with experience running an organization of at least 5 engineers. The right person will also be adept at working with peers to define new processes and policies with outstanding leadership and mentoring abilities.

  • Set regional priorities and policies
  • Present to strategic customers.
  • Manage SE headcount and recruiting
  • Must to be a high-energy, motivated self-starter.
  • Must be effective as a working manager; capable of performing excellent demos and presentations while actively managing a team

Requirements:

  • BS/BA required
  • Minimum 4 years management experience; 8 years Enterprise Software industry experience also required
  • Minimum of 4 years experience and sales success with Civilian, DOD and Federal Intel business
  • Excellent understanding of channel and direct technical sales models
  • Strong team lead experience
  • Significant track record of stellar performance and accomplishment selling in the enterprise software market
  • Excellent grasp of technology and industry trends
  • Proven ability to exceed quota
